SPF Policy Test

The SPF Policy Test checks whether a sender IP address is authorized by looking up the domain's SPF record and checking that the IP address is present in it. Use the tool menu at the top of the page to switch between DNS Domain Analysis, DNS Lookup, SPF Policy Test, CIDR Calculator and DKIM Generator.

Enter an Email Address (for example [email protected]) and an IP Address, then click Run Policy SPF test. The domain is taken from the email address.

The result shows:

Item	Description
IP is permitted sender	Whether the IP address is authorized by the SPF record.
SPF Policy	The status of the domain's SPF policy.
IP Address, Sender, Domain	The values you tested.

Below this, a tree shows the SPF record and every record it includes. Records that contain the IP address are highlighted. Records that could not be loaded show Unable to Retrieve. If no record is found the page shows Record not found.
